Announcing Tableau Conference-ish Coming October 6–8, 2020

Put your out-of-office message on and join us October 6–8 (in the Americas; Oct. 7–9 in Europe and Asia Pacific) for a binge-worthy broadcast chock-full of opportunities for learning, connection, inspiration, and signature Tableau fun.

Here at Tableau, nothing has been a more consistent reminder of how atypical this time is than when we started planning our biggest data celebration of the year, Tableau Conference (TC). There is always a unique energy to TC with all the fun and excitement we share when thousands of people unite over data.

But for all we might miss by not being together in person this year, there are benefits to connecting online. Without the constraints of travel, more people can join to learn about the power of data and we can truly connect with everyone, everywhere. All at a time when connecting people to data-driven insights is more important than ever.

So I am super excited to share that the largest, most impactful data conference is coming to you this year, no flight or road trip required. In a year unlike no other, we’re leaning into all of the possibilities that 2020 brings. We are thrilled to invite you to Tableau Conference-ish! It’s not the same-ish, it’s definitely different-ish, and it will still be fabulous (no -ish there).

This year, we’re delivering a twist on the TC you know and love, reimagined in Tableau-like fashion for a completely virtual, free (!), and interactive event experience for everyone—and anyone who wants to make an impact at their organization.

Experience data for all: A truly global Tableau Conference

Put your out-of-office message on and join us October 6–8 (in the Americas; Oct. 7–9 in Europe and Asia Pacific) for a binge-worthy broadcast chock-full of opportunities for learning, connection, inspiration, and signature Tableau fun. Tableau Conference is free and entirely virtual so it will be easier than ever for our entire community around the globe to experience a new take on the data event of the year. Tune in and bring your entire team as you uncover new ways to bring analytics best practices back to your organization, glean tips on how to build a data culture, and hear about new trends from leading data experts.

Secure a front-row seat to hear analytics thought leaders and speakers

Tableau Conference-ish will deliver a new spin on signature TC moments like inspiring keynotes from Tableau President and CEO Adam Selipsky and the hotly anticipated unveiling of never-before-seen product updates and jaw-dropping demos with Chief Product Officer Francois Ajenstat and the incredible Tableau development team. And, of course, get ready for the puns and impressive vizzing in the can’t-miss Iron Viz virtual showdown. We’ll also be delivering a lineup of special guests and talented thought leaders unlike any other Tableau event. (Check back on the blog for future announcements about these guest speakers.)

Discover the TC content you need with curated channels

Just like your favorite TV broadcast lineup, we’ll be delivering several interactive content channels centering on different Tableau products, our partners, and the incomparable community. Whether you’re new to Tableau or already an accomplished Zen Master, we’re sharing a lineup of episodes tailored to your Tableau journey and covering everything from data skills to Tableau for IT to Tableau in the Public Sector. You’ll also have the opportunity to share knowledge and network with your peers during Braindates. This popular TC activity returns, so you’ll be able to join a topic or create your own Braindate group.

While we’re disappointed to not greet you in person this year, we can’t wait to deliver a Tableau Conference-ish experience to your home office, living room, kitchen counter, backyard, coffee table, or couch near you.

Keep an eye out as we reveal new guest speakers, featured customers, and full session details in the coming weeks. We guarantee it’ll be unlike any virtual event you’ve experienced. Learn more about Tableau Conference-ish and register here.
